 Aries Kae new EP and track "Sunshine" brings light to the world 

This EP has six tracks of absolute bliss.  

The music sounds like it could be blaring from a yacht. 

Calm Images of beach, surfing, sand and sun come to mind.

Aries Kae's voice is so powerful and soothing. 


The first track "Sunshine" reminds us of a summer fling that brings feelings of contentment. 

She harmonizes with herself in heavenly call & response sections throughout "The Age Of I". 

Track three is a duet with Speaks Geak who adds contrast with his impeccable flow. 

Next up is "Replay - EP version" and it conjures up Sade-like innuendo that is wholeheartedly modern and unique in a way that ONLY Aries Kae could provide. 

She breaks it down for the last verse of the song and raps about being a badass woman in general and "sittin' here on this throne."

Track 5 is called "Happy Place" and its intoxicating.  

It feels like a release.

 "lets go to Miami, can we spend a day on the beach in the sand...anywhere i am with you is my happy place."

I don't want this song to end..

TRACK 6 is the REMIX with Noreik Thascool

I am so happy to get this song again but with one of her rad guests! 

I will be listening to this ALL WEEK.

The LA outfit known as Water Tower continue to impress the State of California with their dedication to music in general.  They have been performing on the streets of LA for many years now which gives them their distinct "edge".  Here they are with a sunset set that was supposed to be a part of their official festival set at the virtual Huck Finn Jubilee, but didn't make it due to the sunset being too dark to actually see them. Natalie Jean graces THE  Nashville Sign Billboard! Here at HMP we pride ourselves on having an ear to the ground when it comes to hot new music.  Especially music that has a message. Natalie Jean has an extensive list of awards on her website . After reading through fifty of the awards that she has received for her music, I decided I should just listen for myself.  What I heard next hit me directly in the chest, and brought a tear to my eye.  "We kneel because of the brutality, we kneel because we're dying" Her voice is full of robust heartiness. She exercises great control of her voice as she effortlessly soars above the band.  The next music video of hers that I enjoyed is "The Forgotten" and it is about the veterans that have served the world.  This music will make you feel something, and ideally inspire us to look within and change for the better.  Her Instagram is a great place to be a part of her message.  Nick Johnson spreads love in downtown Nashville We here at HMP are fortunate enough to have been sent the music video of the BRAND NEW single from Nick! Nick Johnson is a stellar musician and songwriter who is focused on channeling positive energy. These are the kind of people that will help lead the future to a brighter path.  In his brand new single "Spread Love" he sings about how "I got no time for hate" which is a very powerful message.  I mean come on, don't you just want to go over to the ledge he is sitting on and hug him? (making sure he doesn't get pushed off in doing so) I love the colorful 70's writing.  The music video is a peaceful stroll down Broadway (the main street running through downtown Nashville) while Nick continues to spread love in every interaction.
